As a Business Development manager you will be working with the newest state of the art tools in the cloud, software development and release management. You will join a Sales team and be responsible for generating successes for Vamp. Vamp has customers world wide and your role is global.
You will work either directly with the larger enterprise target customers or you will work with Vamp partners to generate deals at the enterprise customer for the licensed software platform of Vamp. You will develop working relationships and direct interactions with partners, partner customers like IT architects & C-level leaders where necessary in the DMU’s that are relevant for acquiring Vamp.
You have developed an understanding of Cloud with Amazon, Azure or Google already. You have some affinity with Developer Operations (DevOps). Knowledge about containers and microservices is a pre. You will be stimulated to continue to develop your technical aptitude, leadership, knowledge, skills and business acumen.
Vamp is developed in the heart of beautiful Amsterdam city center. Our development team is mainly working from our Amsterdam offices, and we fully support distributed and working from home.

• generate sales through prospecting and all other necessary sales actions
• provide regular (minimum weekly) sales reporting and update of the sales CRM system on a continuous bases
• turn Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQL)
• turn SQL’s into signed license deals including the implementation and support agreements where relevant
• interact closely with all internal stakeholders on improving sales activities
• account management of customers post-implementation: Responsible for generating more use cases with Vamp at the customer
• builds relationships with sales partners and architects & C-level roles at clients
• be responsible for the development, execution, follow-up and continuous updating of the sales plan, communicates and actively aligns with Marketing
• supports sales engineers and implementation engineers on successful implementations of customers
• accountable for the customer success score (NPS)
• actively feeds learnings from client conversations and implementations back into product development
• work with Product Development team, Marketing and partners to drive further awareness of our joint solutions and further business growth.
• proven trackrecord of 3 years + in sales in cloud B2B services Enterprise DMU’s
• experience with selling to e-Commerce or SaaS customers are a nice bonus
• experience with international sales and making use of latest state-of-of-the -art sales tactics including social media
• able to self-manage in an international, flat and dynamic scale-up team setting using agile working methods
• excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• work and report skills with a CRM system
